Fitment Machine forms film from laminated rollstock, inserts fitment/pour spout, fills liquid product, and caps at 40ppm
Max pouch dimensions are 6 " wide, 9" tall, 2" gusset, stand-up pouch. Fitment 1/2" opening but may be modified.

Machine Sequence:
Film comes on roll stock
Machine gusset hole punches film for “standup delta” type pouches
Machine has a servo power edge guide system and a power web unwind
Forms the film around plow to make gusset
Seals gusset and bottom
Seals side
Knife cuts film and pouch is placed into walking beam device
Fitments are bowl fed down a track into the loading pick and place
Fitment is placed in pouch and sealed by heater bars
Fitment and pouch are top sealed in second set of heater bars
Shaped cooling bars to help cure gluing surface, cooling fitment and pouch
Transferred down the walking beam to the pick and place, which loads the fitment and pouch to the filling conveyor.
Filling conveyor indexes and the fill nozzles lower and fills five pouches simultaneously thru the fitment. The filling nozzles are bottom fill overflow type, may be changed to a piston type volumetric filler if required. The conveyor and filling nozzles move together to allow maximum fill time.
Cap elevator feeds caps to the loading track.
Caps are loaded onto fitment/pouch
Three torque unites torque three caps/pouches simultaneously
Filled and capped pouches are unloaded to a conveyor.

This machine has an Allen Bradley controls system with servo controlled main drive, film feed, walking beam, filling conveyor, and filling nozzles. The level is controlled by the bottom fill overflow type nozzle that fills to a level controlled by the depth of the nozzle.
This machine can be retooled for different fitments and pouch sizes.

This machine is 23 feet long, 7 feet wide with fillers. Included is a bowl feeder with hopper and heated track for fitments, also a hopper and conveyor system for the caps to be loaded from the floor.
